Jackson's Age

Jackson's age is 9 divided by one-quarter of his age.

How old is Jackson?

Solution to the Problem:

Jackson is 6 years old.

Let x = Jackson's age.
Then x = 9 / (1/4 x)
So, x = 9 / (x/4)
Then x = 36 / x
x2 = 36
x = 6 or -6.
