The 416 Fire

At one point in the summer of 2018, the 416 Fire had burned 32,959 acres near Durango, Colorado.   Mike Nelson, the weatherman from Channel 7 News in Denver was predicting one inch of rain for the area and stated that one inch of rain would result in 27,154 gallons of water per acre.   He mentioned that the DC-10 Air Tanker had been fighting the fire, and that the plane carries up to 12,000 US gallons (45,000 liters) of water or fire retardant.

If the fire area did receive one inch of rain, how many air drops would that be equivalent to with the DC-10 Tanker?
