The goal of this game is to get four in a row.
Print a copy of the playing board and display it on the overhead projector.
Split the class into two teams.

Have a student from the first team pick two numbers from 1 to 9.
Place two counters or paper clips on those numbers below the playing board.
The student multiplies the numbers together to get a product.
Place an X on that number on the playing board.

Then have a student from the second team move only one of the two counters to a different number.
Again, find the product and place an O on that number.
Play alternates back and forth between the two teams, but only ONE counter can be moved on each turn.
The first team to get four in a row wins.
