Pythagorean Theorem Game
from the Mathematics Teacher
December 1995

The Pythagorean Theorem Game is a board game that needs some advance preparation.   Each group of 2 to 4 students needs a board and 2 sheets of questions that need to be cut out.   These should all be printed on card stock so that they will last.

Each group will need one die to roll for their turn.   Follow the instructions on the board.   When a player lands on a question mark, another player will draw a card and read it.   If the first player answers correctly, that person moves forward two spaces; otherwise, the player moves backwards two spaces.   Play continues until one player crosses the finish line.
