The 2004 Super Bowl was the 38th in history. When written in Roman Numerals (as Super Bowls are traditionally identified), 38 contains seven characters (XXXVIII), the most ever for a Super Bowl.

Assuming that the Super Bowl will be played every year, when will there be another Super Bowl with seven characters?

Solution:

In 2044, Super Bowl 78 will again reguire seven Roman numeral characters: LXXVIII.

Ten years later, in 2054, Super Bowl 88 will require eight characters: LXXXVIII.
