Down the Line Game
by James Walsh

Down the Line is a game for two players.

Draw a line segment and divide it into 20 (or some other number of) equal parts with vertical marks.

On his or her turn, a player claims two adjacent parts by writing X's above them.

A player cannot claim a part that already has an X above it.

Players alternate taking turns, and the last player to claim two adjacent parts wins.
